This Privacy Policy explains how Talk ToDo collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Talk ToDo mobile app and related services.
We may collect account information, authentication identifiers, task and list content you create, text commands, voice commands, usage information, prompt counts, subscription status, and crash reports and diagnostic information (such as error messages, device platform, and app version) used to keep the app reliable.
To interpret your commands, Talk ToDo sends the text and voice commands you provide to OpenAI, our third-party AI provider, which transcribes your audio and turns your words into actions on your lists. Specifically, the command content you speak or type — along with the names of your existing lists and items, their completion status, and your recent commands that are needed as context — are sent to OpenAI for this purpose only.
We ask for your permission in the app before any command is sent to OpenAI for the first time. OpenAI processes this data on our behalf to provide the feature and does not use it to train its models. This data is not collected or used for advertising.
We use information to operate the app, save and sync your tasks, process voice and text commands, manage usage limits, manage subscriptions, provide support, improve reliability, and prevent abuse.
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and/or subscription management providers such as RevenueCat. We do not store full payment card details.
We use third-party providers to operate the app, including OpenAI (AI command interpretation, transcription, and speech), Clerk (authentication), and RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store (subscriptions), as well as providers for hosting, database storage, and logging. These providers process information only as needed to provide the app, and we confirm that any third party we share data with provides the same or equal protection of that data as described in this policy.
We keep account and task data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data at any time from Settings > Delete account in the app, or by contacting umer.bukhari@gmail.com.
You can withdraw your permission for AI processing at any time by deleting your account in the app or contacting us; the app will not send further commands to OpenAI on your behalf once your account is deleted.
Talk ToDo is not intended for children under 13.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
